On September 24 1988, James Brown burst into the offices that were next door to his, high and brandishing a shotgun. He was angry about what he perceived as an unsanctioned use of his personal lavatory, and demanded to know who among this group of 40?odd insurance salespeople had taken such a liberty. The police were called and a two?state car chase ensued, involving 14 vehicles, during which 23 shots were fired into Brown's pick up truck.
