Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa' Audio Launch



Rajinikanth starrer 'Lingaa' audio has hit the stores on Sunday, 16 November. The music has been launched through a formal function, which was held at Sathyam in Chennai.
The venue was decked up for the audio release and the "Lingaa" posters were seen everywhere at Sathyam. The function was kick-started on time to guests and media personnel.
A host of big names were present at the audio launch of "Lingaa". Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty, Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, Vikram Prabhu, KS Ravikumar, producer Gnanavel Raja, actor Vijaya Kumar, Santhanam, director Ameer and many others were spotted at the music release function, which was hosted by Shiva.
But music director AR Rahman is missing. However, a video interview of him was screened at the event. In the short video clip, the two-time Oscar Award winner said the story has the epic feel and he was surprised how the movie was finished in just six months.
Speaking at the occasion, KS Ravikumar revealed that the title "Lingaa" was registered by director Ameer. But he gave away the movie name to him after they requested him for the same. Originally, it was Rajinikanth, who suggested the film title.
On his turn, director Ameer heaped praises on Rajinikanth and asked him to enter politics. Director Shankar too was impressed by the trailer and claimed that "Lingaa would be a bigger hit than his movie "Enthiran". Rockline Venkatesh, Sudeep, Vairamuthu and a host of others spoke at the function.
